Gastehaus Andre at Monchengladbach was the ideal location for our stay during the Hockey World Cup in September 2006. Andre and Sofie Scheres were our attentive hosts who ensured that everything was just right - including a daily up date on the weather ! - and gave us recommendations for good eating venues and suggestions for lovcal tourist attractions. Hotel Andre is set in quiet gardens (lovingly attended by Sofie) away from traffic noise, is conveniently located for an excellent public transport system and is within easy walking distance of Rheydt with it's thriving shopping precinct.
